CBSE Marking Scheme-Class XII Chemistry

CBSE Question paper of Chemistry will have total maximum 70 marks and students will get three hours to solve this questions paper. There will be total 29 questions in the paper. CBSE Board has issued specific guidelines according to CBSE marking scheme. There will be no overall choice in the question paper. Besides, there will be internal choices in the question paper. Students will receive full marks for each correct answer as per the marking scheme. The below table indicates weightage of topics in CBSE Chemistry Question paper.

CBSE Question paper for Chemistry will have total 8 very short answer questions. Each very short answer will carry 1 mark each. The paper will have two types of short answer questions with 2 and 3 marks respectively. There will be 3 long answer questions which required to be answered in detail. The five long answers questions will have 5 marks each. CBSE Chemistry question paper will have 70 marks in total. The students will have internal choices of answering any one question of 3 marks, and one question of 2 marks and all three long answer questions. In all, there will be internal choices of five questions.
