UPES-MET 2013 MBA Entrance test and Syllabus

UPES MET-University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Management Entrance Test is governed and conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). The University organises and conducts this test to admit students in various MBA courses offered by the university. All the candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible to appear in this test. Aspirants who are appearing in final year of examination also eligible to appear in this UPES MET exam. All the selected candidates who have cleared the exam will be call for group discussion and personal interview.

Syllabus

The Syllabus for the MET entrance test includes academic curriculum in the respective graduation level examination and other topics of Class 10th and 12th . Aspirants can prepare and cover the following topics:

General English:Grammar and its usage, synonyms, antonyms, phrases, essay and other descriptive questions, error recognition, spelling and vocabulary, etc.

Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: Identifying Probably true, Probably false, definitely true, Syllogisms, Functions, Cause and Effect, definitely false kind of statement, Linear arrangements, Matrix arrangements, Coding and decoding , Column graphs, Bar Graphs, Line charts, Pie Chart, Graphs representing Area, Sequencing, identifying next number in series, text, graphs and tables, Coding and decoding , Sequencing, identifying next number in series, text, graphs and tables, etc.

General Awareness: , Books and authors, Science, History, Geography, International, organizations, Famous award and prizes, Current Affairs, Business, Punch line of companies, Top officials of big companies, Major corporate events, etc.

Analytical & Logical Reasoning: Identifying Probably true, Probably false, definitely true, definitely false kind of statement, Statements and conclusions, Cause and Effect, Direction Puzzles, Relations ship puzzles, symbol based problems, etc.
