IIT-JEE 2013 Paper Analysis

IIT-JEE 2013 Analysis:

This year the JEE Main 2013 entrance exam will be held on 7th April, 2013 at various examination centres across the country. Online IIT-JEE will be conducted at different major cities across the country. The registration for online seats has been done on the basis of first come first serve. This year, over 17 lakh aspirants might attempt this prestigious exam to grab a seat in premier IITs, IIITs and NITs of the country. This is the first time when aspirants will appear in newly introduced JEE entrance exam. The new JEE is divided into two parts: JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Those who will successfully qualify the JEE Main 2013 and in the list of 1.5 lakh toppers will appear in JEE Advanced. The admission in the IITs will be done on the basis of ranks as well scores of JEE 2013 advanced. Besides, admission in NITs and IIITs will be done on the scores and ranks of JEE Main entrance exam. At the time of admission, 60% weightage will be given to JEE scores and ranks and remaining 40% weightage will be given to board exam results. IIT-JEE 2012 Analysis:

In IIT-JEE 2012 there were two papers and the maximum allotted time to solve to question paper was three hours. The format of the question was different from JEE-2011. Each paper was divided into three major sections: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Below is the detailed break up of question papers:
