SBVUDCET 2013 Entrance Exam & Eligibility Criteria

The Common Entrance Test for PG Dental and MD courses will be conducted on 30th March, 2013. Students who want to take admission in various post graduate level medical courses can apply for this entrance test. The last date for application is 25th March, 2013. Aspirants who want to apply for this exam are requested to send the duly filled application form to the university. Candidates can also download the application form by visiting the official website of the university.

Programme Duration: MD/MS: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have done MBBS from an institution recognised by MCI and must have obtained permanent registration.

Candidates must have completed/completing their internship by 30th April, 2013.

MDS courses:
 

• Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics
• Conservative dentistry and endodontic
• Prosthodontics and crown and bridge
• Oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Paedodontics and preventive dentistry
• Oral medicine and radiology
• Oral pathology and microbiology
• Periodontology

Programme Duration: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria for Exam: Candidates from general category must have secure 50% marks and SC/ST must have obtained 40% marks.

Selections will be done on the basis of performance in the written test conducted by the university.

The entrance examination will have questions with multiple choice covering subjects of basic sciences which include general anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology and all a clinical and non clinical departments.
