IIT JEE Main 2013 Exam Pattern and Registration Fee

To crack the nutshell of this most sought after and prestigious exam you must get familiar with the examination pattern. The pattern of the JEE examination has been changed last year to make it more students friendly and to reduce the stress of the students. Students must understand that all the questions asked in the examination are based on CBSE syllabus. If you are well versed with all the basics and fundamentals your chances of scoring high increased immensely. This year IIT-JEE main pen-paper based examination will be held on 7th April, 2013 and JEE Main online examination will be conducted on 8th April, 2013.
IIT JEE 2013 Examination Pattern
The JEE Main Examination is divided into two part Paper-1 and Paper-2. The Paper-1 of JEE (Main) will also be considered as eligibility criteria for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidates has to take if he/she wants to get admission to undergraduate programmes offered by IITs.
Mode of Examination:
The Paper 1 of JEE (Main) will be conducted in two separate modes: Offline mode-Pen Paper based examination and Online Mode-Computer Based Examination. The Paper-2 of JEE (Main) will be held only in Pen and Paper based examination mode. Aspirants can opt for only one mode either Pen-Paper based or Computer-Based examination modes for Paper -1 only.
Type of Examination:
JEE Main-2013 will contain two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2. Aspirants have flexibility to choose Paper-1 or Paper-2 or both as per the courses they want to get admission. Below is the subject combination of each paper and mode of examination:

Registration Fee for JEE 2013 Main
The candidates who want to appear in this JEE Main exam need to submit registration fee. The fee is different for general, ST, SC, OCB and Physically Disabled candidates. The fee for female candidates is less compare to male candidates. Below are fee details:

Aspirants who want to get admission in NITs, IIITs and other institutions participating through Central Counselling Board will be done on the basis of All India Rank in JEE Main Examination.
