IIM Kozhikode final placement saw 108 recruiter & 355 offers

IIM Kozhikode final placement has been concluded for its PGP batch for session 2014. The annual salaries noticed more than 10% hike whereas there was a 25% increase in the number of offers made by the recruiters.

There were 108 recruiters participated in the placement process which included 39 new recruiters. The highest domestic salary received by students was Rs. 32 lakh per annum whereas the highest international salary offered to a student was Rs. 33 lakh per annum. The number of pre-placement offers recorded nearly 37% increase compared to last year.

This year 25 students receive international offers with different roles across 7 countries. Paramount Computer System and NMC Healthcare offered UAE-based marketing and sales roles in information security and healthcare respectively.

Some of the major recruiters of this session were Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and IBM Consulting, which made 38 offers. New recruiters included EXL Services, Google, Kellogg's, Philips, Samsung, and TVS Logistics, among others.

Finance companies made offers to 21% of the batch with recruiters such as American Express, Citibank, CRISIL, Dell Financial Services, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ICRA, JPMC, Nomura. Marketing & sales domain saw 28% of the batch bagging offers in companies such as Airtel, Amul, Arvind Lifestyle, Asian Paints, Bajaj, Emami, GSK Pharma, HULBSE, ITCBSE, Madura, Marico, Pepsico, Pidilite, Raymond. Students also received good number of offers from consulting and general management and logistics as well.
