GATE 2014: Result out, Check Now!

Indian Institute of Technology Khargpur declared the result for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE 2014 is conducted at national level examination that evaluates aspirants on their comprehensive understanding in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in science. The GATE result was declared on 27th March, 2014. The total 10,33,625 candidates have registered for the GATE 2014 and 8,89,156 have taken this exam. Out of total candidates registered 30.17% were female while the exam was dominated by male candidates. This is the first time when exam was conducted online for all 22 different papers. On the basis of qualified marks, 49,694 candidates will be receiving the score card in GATE 2014. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of IIT Kharagpur.

The scores secured by the students in the GATE entrance exam will allow aspirants to get admission in to the post-graduate level subjects in Science for instance in M.E., M.Tech and Ph.D programmes. With valid GATE scores aspirants can take admission in Indian Institutes of higher education with financial assistance offered by MHRD and other Government agencies. Many Public Sector Undertaking for employment used this score for screening purpose.
