IIFT invites application for its PH.D programme

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has invited applications from all eligible candidates for its Ph.D programmes. Last date for submitting the application form is 10th April, 2014. IIFT is offering 15 Ph.D seats for the academic session which will start in 2014.

Eligibility Criteria for IIFT Ph. D Programme:

Candidates should have a master’s degree which includes IIFT MPIB/MBA-IB/M. Phil degree in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks or equivalent to B plus in aggregate.

Applicant should have completed their B.Tech/B.E or equivalent degree in engineering from a recognised university with at least 60% marks or CGPA of 4.5 on a scale of 7 or equivalent to B Plus along with minimum 5 years of work experience.

Candidates should have completed a diploma in subject which is considered equivalent to master’s degree with 55% mars or CGPA equivalent to B plus, recognised by AICTE/UGC only would be considered.

Applicants should have professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, CS with minimum 55% marks or CGPA equivalent to B Plus and minimum 5 years of work experience.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are required to attempt a written test. After clearing the entrance test, they need to take research aptitude test and a personal interview to get admission in the Ph.D programme.

Important Dates:

Last date to submit application and research proposal: 10th April. 2014

Name of eligible candidates for written test will be declared on: 25th April, 2014

Written entrance will be conducted on: 4th May, 2014

Result of the entrance test will be announced on: 30th May, 2014

Final result will be declared on 27th June, 2014

Ph.D academic session will commence from: 18th July, 2014
