IIT JEE 2014 Main Exams

JEE Main 2014 is generally conducted to enrol aspirants into the Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in reputed NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions as well as leading private engineering universities and institutes. JEE Main 2014 offline entrance exam will be conducted on 6^th April, 2014 for B.E, B.Tech and B.Arch. courses. The admission will depend upon the performance in the entrance exam and marks secured in Class 12^th or equivalent examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The students will qualify the JEE Main and ranked among the top 1, 50,000 candidates will be eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced entrance exam. The score of JEE Advanced will be considered by the IITs to enrol students in various engineering and technology programmes.

JEE Main 2014 Application Process

The aspirants who want to apply for this JEE Main entrance exam have to fill form online as there is no printed offline form available for JEE Main 2014 exam. To fill the application form candidates must visit the official website of JEE Main exam and fill the mandatory exam.

JEE Main 2014 Application Fee

The application fee for the JEE Main 2014 may be submitted either by credit/debit card or via E-Challan of Syndicate Bank or ICICI Bank after downloading it from the website.

JEE Main 2014 Eligibility Criteria

·         The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE Main 2013 is that the candidates must have passed Class 12^th or its equivalent qualifying examination.

·         Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of Class 12^th are also eligible to apply for the exam.

·         Candidates must have passed 5 subjects in their Class XII. This will not be applicable on the students who have passed Class 12^th in 2012 or 2013 with four subjects.

·         Candidates who have completed their Class XII in 2011 are not eligible to appear in this JEE Main Exam. Candidates can attempt JEE Main for a maximum of three times.

·         Paper 1 - April 6, 2014 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

·         Paper 2 – April 6, 2014 from 2 pm to 5 pm
