MICAT 2014 Registration Process

MICAT is the entrance test which is conducted by the MICA for its flagship 2 years Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communication (PGDM-C). This year the entrance test will be held on 2nd March, 2014 and the result of the entrance exam will be declared in the month of April, 2014. The candidates who have taken any of the national level entrance tests such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA or GMAT will be eligible to take MICAT.

The MICAT 2014 application form procedure will include 3 steps. Below are the three steps for filling up the application form:

Register: Fill the application form of MICAT 2014 online by visiting the application form. As you follow the instruction and register, you will get a user ID and password through which you will able to login in site.

Make payment: The application fee for the MICAT entrance exam is Rs. 1785. Candidates can make payment via 3 options by using Credit Card, Demand Draft and Counter Payment which is payment by cash where you can get the prospects and application form in the MICA Admission Office. Candidates should send the demand draft in favour of “MICA” payable at Ahemdabad, Gujarat. The online payment has to be made thorough HDFC Bank, beneficiary on the name of Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad in Bodakdev Branch.

Preview: In this step, you will be able to preview your duly filled application form of MICAT 2014 before submitting.

The application form is divided into sections such as Personal Details, Education, Training Programmes, Extra-curricular activities, Work Experience, Personal Statement, and How did you come to know about MICA and payment details.

The last date for the filling up the MICAT 2014 Application Form Procedure or MICAT 2014 Registration is 31st January, 2014.

MICAT 2014 Eligibility: The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent. The applicant should have also appeared in any of the entrance exam such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA or GMAT.

Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the MICAT entrance exam.

MICA Entrance Exam Pattern: MICAT exam is paper-pencil based subjective and objective type entrance exam. The duration of the exam is total 125 minutes. The exam is divided into two major parts: Section I and Section II. Section I is subjective type which consists of 4 descriptive questions on writing arguments, story writing and easy writing.

Section II is further divided into 3 parts. Part 1 is Psychometric Test, Part 2 is Reasoning and Verbal Ability and Part 3 is General Knowledge.
