SMU Distance MBA Admission Procedure

Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is one of the most sought after university for pursuing MBA through distance learning. SMU MBA admission for the upcoming session would begin in the month of April. All the programmes offered at SMU-Distance Education are well-recognised by the Distance Education Council. SMU-DE is a member of Association of Indian University (AIU). The University is also recognised by Human Resource Development and University Grants Commission (UGC).

SMU Correspondence MBA

e-MBA or correspondence MBA admission for the university is conducted twice in a year. October and April admission require candidates to obtain the admission brochure along with the admission form. Aspiring candidates can fill the application form by visiting the official website: www.smu.edu.in/admsign.php. Candidates can also get the admission form from: http://online.smude.edu.in/onlineprospectus/.

Eligibility Criteria:

To get admission in distance learning MBA candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have passed management from a recognised university
• Graduate with at least 50% plus at least a year of managerial experience
• Graduate with a minimum of 45% marks and 2 years of managerial experience
• Candidates should have completed 4 years graduate degree in Health/Life Sciences from a recognised university for health management programmes.

How to apply?
Applications for admission into the Distance Learning Programmes offered by SMU-DE should be made at any of the Authorised Centres.

Follow the below steps:

• Choose a programme you want to study
• Download the prospectus
• Visit the nearest Authorised Centre
• You can obtain the application form from the Authorised Centre
• Fill the application form properly and attach all the required form along with the application form and course fee by Demand Draft in Favour of “Sikkim Manipal University” payable at Manipal/Udupi.
• Candidates can also submit the application form with all necessary documents at the Authorised Centre.
