Symbiosis University Admission Procedure 2014
For getting admission in post graduate programmes in the Symbiosis International University for the 2014-15 academic session. Aspiring candidates will have to go through a centralised admission process for applying to various post graduate programmes at the Symbiosis University.
Candidates who want to take admission to an MBA programme offered by a constituent institute of Symbiosis International University will need to take the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP).
The new admission process follows as:
Selection Process for Personal International & Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT)
All the candidates have to appear in Writing Ability Test (WAT), it is part of selection process at Symbiosis International University (SIU) for getting admission to the MBA programme. The maximum marks allocated for this section is 15 marks. The section is divided into two parts, Part-A, Part-B.
Part A: Writing Skills: 10 marks
Part B: Creativity and Critical Thinking: 10 marks
Part A + Part B = 10+10 = 20 marks to be scaled down to 15 marks.
Writing skills, creativity and critical thinking are very important part of SIU MBA selection process, at the time of evaluation candidates will get the quality content.
Every candidate will have to go through the process of Personal Interaction which will be conducted by a panel of experts as finalised by the Admission Committee and this section will carry 35 marks.
