Oxford announces scholarship of �45,000 for technology professionals

Zamir Telecom, which is an international communication company has announced a scholarship of £45,000 to MBA professionals. The scholarship is offered to Said Business School, University of Oxford to set up the Zamir Telecom MBA Scholarship.

The scholarship will be offered to promising young professional from technology sector which are pursuing their MBA programme from Oxford’s Business School. The amount will be offered in instalments, it will be £15,000 per year for three years. The scholarship is open for applicants from countries like Africa, Asia or Middle East or to those from those countries who have a deep interest to improve the standard of technology and its advancement in these areas.

As per a recent press statement the Zamir Telecom views these places as future hubs for innovation and the scholarship will allow individuals with extraordinary intellectual and professional talent to connect with firms in UK and its operations in these countries and enable them, with the fund of Oxford MBA, to develop and realise their potential as upcoming leaders and innovators in the field. Zamir Telecom will offer each scholar with a paid internship with one year employment contract on graduation.

Peter Tufano, Dean of Said Business School, said, “There are many talented young people around the world and this gift will enable us to open up the opportunity for them to make connections they would otherwise never make and go on to shape the future of technology provision in the emerging economies.”
