IGNOU MBA Admission Procedure

IGNOU offers various degrees and diplomas to students to cater their professional and career needs. It is one of the largest universities of the world. IGNOU's MBA programme is one of the most sought after programmes among students. The university offers MBA programme to aspirants twice in a year. The entrance test for the MBA programme is famous among students as IGNOU OPENMAT examination. The entrance test is conducted twice in the months of February and August and is valid for all management programmes offered by the university.

Application Form:

Aspirants can obtain the application forms from IGNOU offices (regional centers & study centres) or by visiting the official website: www.ignou.ac.in . To obtain the application form and brochure students need to pay Rs. 500 at the headquarters at Maidan Garhi. Those who have downloaded the form, required to submit the same along with a demand draft of Rs. 550/- only in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi.

IGNOU Eligibility Criteria for MBA

• Candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
• Candidates must have secured 50% marks in general category and 45% marks in SC/ST/OBC category from a recognised university
• Non Graduates need at least 6 years of work experience to be eligible

IGNOU Hall Ticket

Aspiring candidates must receive the hall tickets at least 10 days before the examination date. Those who do not receive their hall tickets should download it from the official website and report the same to the examination center.

IGNOU 2013 OPENMAT Result

Successful candidates will receive the result card within 6-7 weeks of the examination. In case of non-receipt, aspirants can also download the same by visiting the official IGNOU Website.

Score Validity

Cut-off marks will be based on the discretion of university and all the candidates will be sent the result card with clear indication whether the candidate has qualified the programme or not. The score card is valid for a year students can take admission in either July semester or in January semester as per his/her convenience.

IGNOU MBA Programme Fee

Fee for distance learning MBA programme at university is Rs. 1000/- per course and payment can be done through bank draft or a bank challan.
