AIPGMEE 2014 registration process has started

The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) 2014 will be conducted between 25th November to 6th December, 2013. The registration for the AIPGMEE has started. AIPGMEE is mandatory exam for all those aspirants who want to take admission in postgraduate degree and diploma courses in medical colleges. Aspirants can fill the registration form online or offline as per their convenience. Both the registration voucher will be available for students till 13th November, 2013. Aspirants can do the registration on both offline and online will be done at 279 branches of the Axis Bank across the country.

AIPGMEE will be conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The exam will be computer-based. The online test will be conducted at 70 different centres in 38 cities across the country. In Uttar Pradesh the test will be held at Lucknow and Varanasi. The test centre in Lucknow is Surya Group of Institutions, Mohanlalganj, while in Varanasi it will be conducted at the Society of Higher Education and Practical Applications, SHEPA campus, Mohansarai, Mughalsarai.

Bipin Batra, executive director, NBE said the duration the examination will be three hours and 30 minutes. In addition, 15 minutes of the test tutorial time will be given. There will be total 300 multiple choice questions covering different subjects of the MBBS curriculum. There will be no negative marking in the exam. The language of the test will be conducted only in English.

The examination fee along with the information bulletin for AIPGMEE is Rs 3,750 for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 2,750 for SC/ST candidates.
