VITEEE 2013 paper pattern & courses

VIT Vellore Institute of Technology is one of the leading technology institutes of the country. It offers various technology centric courses to students at undergraduate, post graduate and Ph.D level. The exam is considered as one of the toughest and prestigious entrance exam of the country. The race to get admission in this college is really complex. This year the exam will be held between 15th April, 2013 to 30th April, 20013 at various test centres across the country. Last date to apply for the exam is 28th April, 2013.VITEEE entrance test will be held at 112 cities across the country.

Paper Pattern:

The pattern of the exam is objective type, multiple choice questions. The total maximum marks are 120 and total number of questions asked 120. There will be no negative marking for choosing wrong answer. The paper is divided into four major sections:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics/Biology
  • Candidate who will attempt Part-Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for all 13 programmes offered.
  • Aspirants who have appeared in Parts-Physics, Chemistry & Biology are eligible for Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering and Biotechnology programmes only.
  • The candidates should select the pattern (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics or Biology) at the time of booking there examination slot.
  • Most of the questions asked in this exam are from CBSE Class XIth and XIIth syllabus
  • Each question has four options and for each correct answer you will be awarded one 1 mark
  • There is no negative marking in the exam
