XLRI announced admission for virtual interactive learning programmes
Xavier Labour Relations Institutes (XLRI) has declared the opening of admission for the virtual interactive learning (VIL) programme for its courses in ‘business management’ and ‘human resource management’.
In addition to the primary mode of imparting the residential management education, XLRI has been having VIL programme since 2002. The Virtual Interactive Learning programmes help working executive to undertake formal management learning in the city where they work and resides. It also gives them freedom to take classes at their convenience and select a time schedule without interrupting their career. It will help them to improve their management-centric knowledge, skills and competencies.
Ashish Pani, associate dean, Virtual Interactive Learning programmes, XLRI, said, “XLRI's VIL programme aims to provide worthwhile management education to today's professionals and executives, who are willing to complete their management education whilst still being in service or while being involved with their own business.”
The programmes are offered in technical collaboration with Hughes Communication India Ltd. and Reliance World (HCIL and RW). There are 150 classroom centres across the country. The VIL arm has also reached out to international students with a successful programme launch for students in Nigeria.
The VIL arm of XLRI offers a portfolio of compact programmes over a 12 months duration across various functional areas of management. Apart from Business management and human resource management courses, other courses offered which includes on logistics and supply chain management, retails management and sales and marketing management.
The aspirants who want to apply for the programme should be a graduate with minimum two years of work experience after graduate. In the VIL programme has two rounds of application for each of its five certification course. After successful completion on the programme students are awarded ‘postgraduate certificate’.
