XIM-B will offer integrated doctoral programme
Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIM-B), a top notch B-School of the country is thinking to introduce five year integrated doctoral programme in management from the next academic year under the Xavier University. The proposed course would enrol maximum 60 students for the academic year. The programme would include full time MBA in the first two years and Ph.D in the final three years.
The candidates for the programme will be selected based on the scores secured in Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), CAT (Common Admission Test) Graduate Management Admission Test, said Father Paul Fermandes, Director, XIM-B.
He further added, the students have to clear a standard cut-off parameter after two year of MBA for pursing the Ph.D. The basic criteria will be decided by the doctoral committee formed for the purpose.
XIM-B has identified seven to eight areas of management such as CSR management, rural management, business management, public policy management for Ph.D enrolment.
