CMAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria & Application Procedure

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2013-14) will be conducted within test window starting from 21st February, 2013 to 25th February, 2013. This is the second time the test will be held. CMAT 2013 Entrance Test is management entrance test which is conducted to enrol students into various management courses offered by AICTE approved B-Schools across the country.

The exam was introduced with the aim of scraping all the existing management entrance exams and to introduce a single national level entrance test. CMAT will be held in 61 cities across the country. The candidates have the option of selecting the exam date and city for appearing in the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT 2013:

 

  • Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree from any recognised university
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of examination can also apply for the exam

Management (PGDM, MBA) Eligibility

Candidates must have possess Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in general category and 45% marks in reserved category in qualifying examination

Management (PGCM)

Candidates must have done graduation from any recognised university

Management (Executive PGDM)

  • Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university with minimum of 5 years relevant managerial / supervisory experience.
  • Candidates must have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination

CMAT Paper Pattern 2013

The maximum time allocated to complete the exam is 180 minutes. The exam has total 100 questions divided into four sections. The maximum marks are 400 and there is negative marking for wrong answers. For each wrong answer one mark will be deducted.

CMAT 2013 Application Procedure

  • Register yourself by visiting the official as new user.
  • After creating your ID now you need to self register yourself.
  • Enter all your basic details, please ensure that you enter all correct details
  • Verify all your details before clicking on “Submit button”.
  • Once you click on “Submit button” you can’t edit and make changes
  • After submission of details you will get 6 digit password
  • With this 6 digit password you can login on site to check information and details
  • You can make payment by two mode: Online Payment and Cash Payment

Online Payment:

  • You can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking
  • After payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and sms.
  • Receiving the successful payment confirmation, you can proceed with the remaining part of registration process.

Cash Payment:

  • You can make your payment by Cash at any designated SBI bank branch
  • Once you select option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it.
  • Take three print outs of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies
  • Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan generation

CMAT 2013 Registration Fee:

Registration fee for General category candidates: Rs.1200+ Bank charges as applicable

Registration fee for SC/ST/PD category candidates: Rs. 600+ Bank charges as applicable

Important Dates:

Registration for CMAT entrance exam will start from: 1st November, 2012

Registration for CMAT entrance exam will end on: 13th January, 2013

Candidates can download the admit card from: 11th February, 2013

CMAT Entrance exam will be held between: 21st February to 25th February, 2013

CMAT Result 2013 will be declared on: 13th March, 2013
