HBSAT 2013 Entrance Exam & Selection Procedure

Hyderabad Business School (HBS), Gitam University has declared the dates for its Hyderabad Business School Aptitude Test (HBSAT 2013) exam. The exam will be conducted on 2nd February, 2013, Saturday at various examination centres.

HBSAT exam is online entrance exam conducted by HBS, part of GITAM University. The exam is conducted for getting admission in two year full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme which offers dual specialisations. The students can opt from the following specialisations: International Business, Marketing Management and Operations & Supply Chain Management, Banking & International Finance, Human Resource Management.

Eligibility Criteria for HBSAT 2013

• Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks from a recognised university in any discipline.
• The bachelor's degree or similar qualification obtained by the candidate must entail at least three years education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or same.
• Candidates appearing in the final year of examination are also eligible to apply for the programme.

Selection Process:

• Selection will be done o the basis of test score secured in the admission test HBSAT.
• Candidates who have already qualified exams such as MAT/GMAT/CAT-2012 scores are not required to attempt this exam.
• Candidates with valid test scores of MAT/GMAT/CAT-2012 should send the filled in application on or before 18th February, 2013.
• Short-listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and interview.
• Final selection will be done on the basis of 10th , 12th , graduate and work experience. Any valid test scores of mentioned exams and performance in the GD& PI round.

Application Procedure

• Aspiring candidates can obtain the application form and brochure by making payment of Rs. 1000/- for male candidates and Rs. 600/- for female candidates.
• They can also obtain the brochure by sending the DD in person at GITAM University City office at Khairatabad, Hyderabad.
• By post enclosing DD or pay order in favour of GITAM University payable at Hyderabad.

Last date for receiving filled-in application forms: 21st January, 2013-01-21

Last date to submit application forms with MATGMATCAT-2012 scores: 18th February, 2012

Entrance exam will be held on: 2nd February, 2013

GD & PI will be done on: 2nd March, 2013
