Studying Bachelor�s at DU degree gets costlier, ready to pay more!

From this year onwards pursing Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University got more expensive. Almost all the colleges have increased the fees between 7% to 10% after the introduction of the four-year undergraduate programme, the hike is going to be more it in some colleges.

If you want to pursue humanities at St. Stephen’s college get ready to pay Rs. 22, 435 annually as compared to Rs. 19,925 of last year. The annual fee charged by the Lady Shri Ram College’s four-year journalism course, the priciest programme on offer in the college will be Rs. 24,080 as opposed to Rs. 19,760. Shri Ram College of Commerce has increased the fee Rs. 1000 per annum.

The new fee structure is for freshers, but a marginal fee increase of the other classes can’t be ruled out in the coming days. Colleges will revise fee from time-to-time but the four year course has now made an undergraduate course enough expensive for aspirants.

Six years back, a bachelor’s degree in humanities, which cost between Rs. 5000 and Rs. 7000 in most colleges, with science courses a bit more expensive. Presently, if you will pursue a four-years-bachelor’s degree you need to pay Rs. 7000 and Rs. 8000. Whereas, colleges such as Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College and Rajdhani College will now charge 10% more fee annually.
