GSIB Entrance Test 2013: Exam pattern Admission Criteria

Gitam School of International Business is part of Gitam University, which offers International Business Education, Research, Training and Consultancy. GSIB Entrance Test (GET) will be conducted for getting admission in different MBA programmes offered by the institute for upcoming academic session of 2013-15. It is a mandatory, national level entrance exam for all those candidates who want to get admission in this prestigious institute.

Gitam School of International Business has declared the entrance exam dates, which will be conducted on 27th January, 2013. The entrance exam will be held at various exam centres across India. The aspiring candidates can fill the application form by 19thJanuary, 2013.

 

Gitam -  GET Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with 50% marks
• Candidates who are waiting for final year results may also apply
• Candidates with valid test scores of CAT-12, IIFT-12, XAT-13, MAT (2012-13), GMAT and GET-13 are also eligible to apply

Gitam GET Exam Pattern 2013-15

The total numbers of questions asked in the Gitman Entrance Exam are 120. The maximum time allocated to complete the exam is 120 minutes. The paper is divided into three major sections. The three major sections are:

Section I: Verbal Ability (40 questions),

Section II: Logic & Data Interpretation (40 questions)

Section III: Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions). Each question carries 1 mark.

GET 2013 is mandatory exam for those who have not attempted any of the other valid exams whose score are accepted by the institute. It is optional for those who already have any above valid test scores.

GET 2013 Application Fee:

• Application form along with brochure can be obtained from the designated centres of the Schools by making cash payment of Rs. 1000/
• Students can also obtain it by post from the School by sending a DD of Rs. 1100/-
• Candidates can also download the application form by visiting the official website and submitted duly filled form enclosing in favour of “GITAM school of International Business”.

Important Dates:

Last date for receiving filled application form: 19th January, 2013

GSIB 2013 Entrance Test will be held on: 27th January, 2013

Last date for receiving filled application with other scores for IB-IQ test, GD and PI: 23rd February, 2013

IB-IQ test and GD &PI will be held on: 2nd and 3rd March, 2013

Selection Process for GSIB Entrance Exam
The selection will be done on the basis of following criteria:

1. IB-IQ Test
2. Group discussion
3. Personal Interview

Final selection will be done on the basis of total marks secured in all the above criteria.
