AMU MBA 2013 Exam Date

Aligarh Muslim University Combines Admission Test (AMU CAT) is conducted for giving admission into MBA/PG Diploma courses in the university. The university conducts entrance exam for its different courses separately every year. The admission in all these courses will be given on the basis of performance in the entrance exam through a common entrance test conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. It prepares a merit list of successful candidates, to secure a seat in the university aspirants are required to score highest in the examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who want to apply for the exam should have completed Bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from any recognised university

Aspirants who are appearing in the final qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Application Procedure:

  • Aspiring candidates can fill the application form online by visiting the official website of the university. While filling up the application form candidates should read all the instructions carefully and fill the form accordingly.
  • After filling up the form candidates are required to take the print out of duly filled application form and send it to the university with all required documents and demand draft in favour of university.
  • Candidates must have the Cash receipt/Demand Draft of requisite amount in favour of Finance Officer, AMU, payable at Aligarh with him as candidates can’t proceed further without filling up the Test Fee/Processing Column.
  • The candidate is required to send the application Form/print out of the form to the Deputy Controller (Admission Selection), Controller’s Office, AMU, Aligarh-202002 on or before the last date of application.

Selection Process:

  • Candidates will have to clear mandatory written test.
  • Those who will qualify the entrance exam with highest marks will be called for interview and group discussion
  • Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined score of written test, personal interview and group discussion.

Paper Pattern:

There will be total 200 questions asked in the examination and each question will carry one mark. The questions will be based on five major sections such as Environmental Awareness, Numerical Ability, Comprehension, Reasoning & Intelligence and Data Interpretation.

Last date to send the duly filled application form: 30th March, 2013

AMU CAT exam will be conducted on: 2nd June, 2013
