RIST 2013 Exam Date

Regional Institute of Science & Technology (RIST) offers B.Tech programmes to aspiring candidates. It conducts RIST ERDF Common Entrance Test for enrolling students into various B.Tech programmes. This year, the entrance test will be conducted on 26th May, 2013. The last date to send the duly filled application form is 15th May, 2013. The admission into B.Tech courses will be given on the basis of merit list prepared by the institute on the performance in the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 in Science or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology having passed as main subject with minimum 45% marks in the above subjects taken together. Candidates from SC/ST/OBC must have obtained at least 40% marks in their Class 10+2 examination.
• Admission will be given on the basis of merit list prepared on the result of ERDF Common Entrance Test (CET).
• The merit list of qualified candidates will be published in the leading dailies and the candidates will be selected according to the descending order of the list.

Application Procedure:

Candidates can download the application form from the university website: www.rist.ac.in

Candidates can obtain the registration form and prospectus on making payment of Rs. 500/- for campus office/city office or in any Axis Bank branch in North East Region.

Aspirants can download the application form from the institute’s official website and submit it along with all necessary documents and DD of Rs. 500 in favour of “ Regional Institute of Science & Technology” payable at "Khanapara".

Candidates required to send the duly filled application form to the below mentioned address on or before the last date of application.
