UPESEAT 2013 Exam Date

University of Petroleum & Energy Studies conducts Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) every year. The university conducts this entrance test to enrol students into various B.Tech and engineering courses offered by university. This year, the entrance exam will be held on 25th May, 2013. The last date to fill and submit the duly filled application form is 4th May, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates who want to apply for B.Tech programmes must have completed Class 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 60% marks. The candidates must obtain at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Admission through Board Merit of AIEEE (20% seats)

Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 from any recognised board with minimum 80% marks. The candidates must have secured at least 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Or

He/she must have done Class 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. He/She should have an AIEEE rank within one lakh in All India level.

Application Process:

Aspirants can apply either online or offline. If candidate wants to apply online he/she can make the payment online as well using credit/debit card.

Candidates can also apply offline by buying prospectus and application form. He/she send the duly filled application form along with necessary documents and examination fee before or on the last date of application.

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1750 cash if buying application form offline and required to pay Rs 1850 by DD if applying online. Candidates can send the DD in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, payable at New Delhi/Dehradun along with request letter.

UPESEAT Paper Pattern:

There will be total 200 question asked in the examination. The questions paper will be divided into five major sections. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will have 50 questions each, whereas English language comprehension will have 30 questions and Current Affairs Awareness will have 20 questions.
