AMIE IEI 2013 Exam Dates

The Association Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is professional certification offered by the Institution of Engineers (India). The Associate Membership Institution Engineering Entrance Exam 2013 will be held between 1st June to 7th June, 2013. Aspiring candidates can select a date as per their convenience. It is an all India level examination, candidates can appear in the examination across the country. Those who want to enter into the institutes must have attempt this entrance test, it is a mandatory test for all aspiring candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 examination from a recognised board with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• He/she must have completed a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent from a recognised institute, in any branch of engineering
• Candidates appearing in the final examination of Class10+2 are also eligible to apply for the exam.
• He/she must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of examination.

Examination Fee:

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 2000/- for appearing in the examination from any centres in India. Those who are applying from outside India required to pay US$ 150 as examination fee. The examination fee is same irrespective of the number of subjects you take at a time/chances.

Application Procedure:

Candidates who want to apply online can visit the official website and download the application form. Candidates must take the print out of duly filled application form. He/she should make the payment through DD. The Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of “ The Institutions of Engineering (India)” payable at Kolkata. Candidates must write their name, contact details, category in case of SC/ST in the back side of the DD. Duly filled application form should be reach at the below address on or before the last date of application.
