Jawaharlal Nehru University MCA Entrance Exam 2013

Jawaharlal Nehru University conducts a national level entrance exam for enrolling students in MCA programme. The exam is popularly known as JNU MCA entrance exam. The university will conduct the entrance exam on 19th May, 2013 at various locations across the country. All the successful candidates who will qualify the exam get opportunity to get admission in School of Computer & Systems Science in Jawaharlal Nehru University.

JNU 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have completed Bachelors degree with 10+2+3 pattern with at least 55% marks

Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the exam

Aspirants will get admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance test

JNU MCA Application Procedure

JNU MCA application form can be obtained from JNU’s official website. Candidates can fill the form online and download the duly filled application form. Candidates can submit the downloaded application form along with all necessary documents required. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs. 220/- and for SC/ST/OBC and Physically challenged candidates Rs. 110/- only. Candidates are required to send crossed demand draft for the examination fee. The bank draft should be drawn in favour of ‘Jawaharlal Nehru University’ payable at New Delhi.

JNU MCA Exam Pattern

The JNU MCA paper will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Questions will be based on Class 10+2 and Graduation Mathematics, Probability, General Aptitude and reasoning. Nearly, 80% questions will be based on mathematics and probability and 20% questions will be based on general aptitude and reasoning.
