BIT Mesra 2013 Exam Date

Birla Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Test (BIT Mesra MCA) 2013 has been held by the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra for getting admission into three years full time Master in Computer Application (MCA) programme at Mesra and other centres for BITs at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra is a leading and autonomous engineering and technology institute with high quality education. It conducts online test for selecting candidates for admission to its 3 year 6 semester full-time MBA programme, which will start in July 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed Class 10 with at least 50% marks in general category and 45% marks in SC/ST category in all subjects.
• Aspirants belonging to general category must have secured at least 50% marks and candidates from SC/ST category must have obtained 45% marks in average of all subjects in Class 12. He/she must have passed in Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Practices as main subjects or equivalent examination.
• Candidates must be having a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from any recognised university with 10+2+3 patterns.
• Aspirants must have done BCA or B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the main subject at graduation level.
• Candidates of B.Sc Honors from general category must have obtained at least 50% marks in average and 45% for SC/ST category.
• Candidates appearing in the final examination of their Bachelor’s programme are also eligible to apply for the programme.

Application Process:

Candidates desirous to seek MCA programme from BIT, who fulfils the eligibility criteria must complete and submit the online application form by visiting the official website. Candidates are required to take print out of the completed application form and send it along with two recent colour photographs, photocopies of all mark-sheets and certificates. Candidates are required to send a crossed demand draft in favour of ‘Birla Institute of Technology’ for Rs. 1, 200 for general category and Rs. 800 for SC/ST categories.

Aspirants must send the application to the office of the Dean, Admission & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi-835215. Applications must reach the Dean’s office on or before the last date of application.

BIT MCA entrance exam will be held on: 1st June and 2nd June, 2013

Result will be declared on: 15th June, 2013
