BITSAT 2013 Exam Date

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani conducts Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2013) every year to enrol students in B.Tech programmes. This year the BITSAT exam will be held from 14th June to 1st July, 2013. BITSAT 2013 is computer based online entrance test. It is held for admission to integrated first year degree programme of BITS Pilani at Pilani campus and other campus of Birla Technology institute located in Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai for the upcoming academic year.

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT:

• Aspirants who want to apply for any of the B.Tech programme in the institute must have passed the Class 12th examination from a recognised Central or State Board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as main subject.
• Aspirants should have secured minimum 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in Class 12th examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
• Candidates appearing in the Class 12th final examination are also eligible for BITSAT 2013 entrance examination or those who have passed the Class 12th examination are also eligible to attempt this test.

BITSAT Application Procedure:

All the aspiring candidates who want to attempt this BITSAT 2013 entrance exam should register their names for the upcoming exam. Aspirants are required to visit the official website of the BITSAT: www.bitadmission.com and the mentioned fees. Candidates should take the print out of the filled form for their reference.

If a candidate want to make fee payment by demand draft then a copy of the complete application form along with a DD of Rs. 1850/- need to be sent. Female candidates need to pay Rs. 1350/- as examination fee and for female candidates the fee is Rs. 1250/-. Demand Draft for the application should be sent to Admission Officer, BITS Pilani-333031.

If a candidate chooses Dubai campus as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $ 50 (or Indian Rs. 2500/-). Details for payment of fees are available at the website while applying online.

Examination Pattern BITSAT 2013:

There will be total 150 questions asked in the examination. The question paper is divided into four major sections. All the questions are multiple choice questions with four options. For each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded. There will be negative marking the exam and for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Candidates can download the Hall Tickets from: 15th April to 30th April, 2013

BITSAT online test will be held from: 14th May to 1st June, 2013
