MITS FET 2013 Exam Date

MITS University offers various bachelor and master programmes to students and to enrol students into these different engineering programmes, it conducts entrance test. It conducts MITS FET 2013 Entrance test to evaluate student’s skills and knowledge. The university is exclusive for female students. The university offers below mentioned courses to students:

• 5 Yrs.Integrated B. Tech + M. Tech Programme in Electronics & Communication Engineering

MITS exam eligibility criteria: Candidate must have passed Class 10+2 examination or CBSE or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology and adequate proficiency in English.

MITS University Second Year-Lateral Entry Eligibility: Candidate must have passed at least three year Diploma in any branch of engineering from a recognised institute in India with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

OR

Aspirants must have completed three year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) course with Mathematics at graduation level from any recognised institution/university in India or abroad. However, such candidates will have to attempt an Entrance Test conducted by the Admission Committee.

MITS University 2013 PG Programmes Eligibility: Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate with adequate proficiency in English.

M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering: B.Tech/B.E/M.Sc./M.C.A or an equivalent degree from any recognised university.

M.Tech in Nano Science & Technology: B.Tech/BE./Electronics/Electrical/Chemical/Computer Science & Engg. Or M.Sc. Physics/Chemistry with Mathematics up to at least Bachelor’s level.

M.Tech in Signal Processing: B.E. / B. Tech. / M.Sc. or an equivalent Degree in related field

M.Tech in VLSI Design: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. or an equivalent Degree in related field

M.Tech in Nuclear Science and Technology: B. E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Industrial/ Production/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology or M.Sc. Physics/ Electronics/ Chemistry

6.3 years Integrated M.Tech (Nuclear Science and Technology) Programme: Bachelor’s degree in Science with at least first division or 60% marks or equivalents grade with Physics and Mathematics as a subject for at least two years four semesters

Master of Computer Application (MCA): Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks in Mathematics at least up to 10+2 level.

MITS FED Selection Procedure: For admission in undergraduate programmes candidates must have submit the score/rank of JEE (Main)-2013/ State level Engineering Entrance Test/ MITS Engineering Entrance Test (MEET 2013)

Admission in PG courses will be given on the basis of written test or an interview. Candidates who have qualified GATE examination will be preferred and not required to appear in the written test.

To get admission in MCA either candidates must have appeared in MITS MCA Entrance Test or any State Level Entrance Test.

MITS Application Procedure:

Candidates can submit the application form online or they can download the application form and send the filled in form along with all necessary documents with a demand draft of Rs. 600/- drawn in favour of MITS-FET payable at Lakshmangarh or Sikar to Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Mody Institute of Technology and Science, Lakshmangarh, Dist. Sikar, Rajasthan-332311, India.

OR

Candidates can send a demand draft for Rs. 600/- in favour of MITS-FET for obtaining prospectus and application form payable at Lakshmangarh or Sikar along with complete postal address on a separate sheet of paper on the address mention in the application form.

OR

Candidates can also obtain the prospectus and application form in person through making payment of Rs. 600/- in cash from FET, MITS-Lakshmangarh Office.

Last date to submit the duly filled application form for UG programmes: 15th April, 2013

Last date to submit the duly filled application form for MCA programmes: 15th April, 2013

Last date to submit the duly filled application form for PG programmes: 15th April, 2013

MMET 2013 and MEET exam will be held from: 26th to 28th April, 2013

MMET and MEET result will be declared on 5th May, 2013
