ATMA 2013 Registration Process, Syllabus & Paper Pattern

Association of Indian Management School (AIMS) is a governing body which conducts Management Admission test (ATMA) for its member institutes. The test is single-window test to evaluate the skills of students. The test is conducted by the AIMS for management institutes to evaluate student’s skills such as verbal skills, analytical and reasoning skills and language skills, etc. The exam is approved by HRD ministry. Aspiring management students can use their test scores as an entry ticket for various leading management institutes.

This year the ATMA entrance test will be held on 17th February, 2013. The last date to submit the duly filled application form is 7th February, 2013. Pattern of ATMA exam is objective type with four options as answers.

Registration process for ATMA 2013

  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 1050/- as form registration fee for ATMA entrance test. The payment can be done in Cash/Demand Draft in favour of AIMS centre.
  • Aspirants can also register online by visiting the official website: www.atmaaims.com by using personal identification number, which they have received from ATMA.


ATMA 2013 Admit Card

  • The candidates who have successfully registered themselves are requested to download their admit card by visiting the official website: www.atmaaims.com by using PID number and date of birth.
  • Candidates are requested to affix their passport size photograph on the given space. Candidates who will not carry their admit cards to examination centres will not be allowed to take the exam.

ATMA 2013 Paper pattern

The ATMA entrance exam generally contains questions on three major sections:

  • Analytical Reasoning Skills
  • Quantitative Skills
  • Verbal Skills
  • ATMA Syllabus

Analytical Reasoning Skills: This section will judge you on your logical reasoning skills. In this section, you are required to analyse the situation described in question and then select the most suitable answer. While answering each question, select the best answer from the available choices.

Quantitative Skills:

This section will evaluate your Quantitative skills and ability to solve problems based on quantitative topics and interprets graphic data. Types of multiple choice questions based on: Problem solving and Data sufficiency.

These questions are basically based on:

  • Arithmetic
  • Elementary algebra
  • Common concepts of Geometry

Verbal Skills:

This section will judge your abilities to read and comprehend written material in English language to conform the standard written English and can reason and evaluate arguments.

Questions asked in this section (Multiple Choice):

  • Reading comprehension
  • Sentence correction
  • Word meaning
  • Sentence completions
