ISAT Exam 2013 is held by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology for the under graduate program in B. Tech offered by the institute. The B. Tech courses further offered in Avionics, Aerospace engineering and physical science. There are total 156 seats for the under graduate programs. There are 60 seats each in Aerospace engineering and avionics programmes and remaining 36 are given to physical sciences. The applicants can also apply for the exam online. The admission into the courses will be given on the basis of All India Rank List. The rank list will be prepared on the basis of Class 12th exam score and rank list of JEE entrance exam. While preparing the rank list 60% weightage will be given to 12th Class score and 40% weightage will be given to All India Rank in JEE entrance test.

ISAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:
 

• The candidates who want to appear in this entrance test must be a citizen of India.
• The date of birth of candidates from the general and OBC categories should lie on or after the 1st October, 1987 while those who belong to SC/ST/PD category it should be on or after 1st October, 1982.
• The candidates who belongs General/OBC category must have secured at least 70% marks as the aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The SC/ST/PD candidates aggregate minimum marks should be 60% in the same subjects.

ISAT Exam Pattern:

The exam question paper pattern is objective type, divided into the three sections in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

All the answers are required to be marked on the Optical Response Sheet, which is specially designed Machines-gradable sheet. The answers can be marked by an HB pencil only.

For every correct answer candidates will get three marks and for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted.

ISAT Exam Important Dates:

The entrance exam will be held on: 24th April, 2013

The entrance exam result will be declared on 23rd May, 2013
