IIM-Indore students receives Rs. 32 lakh annual offer

Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) student has received an offer of Rs. 32 lakh per annum. The offer is made by a domestic company, which is the highest offer in present year.

This year’s highest offer is less than the highest offer received last year. The IIM-I spokesman without disclosing the name of the recruiter who made this offer said that PGP 2012-14 student has received Rs. 32 lakh per annum offer for appointment in India.

There were many leading companies which participated in the placement process and offered jobs to all 475 pass-outs of the 2012-14 batch. This year the annual average pay package offered to students stood somewhere around Rs. 12.13 lakh to participants.

Total of 152 companies marked their interest in participating in the placement process and out of them 41 visited the campus first time. The maximum numbers of jobs were offered in the sales and marketing sector, 24% offers were made by consulting firms, followed by 20% in the financial sector and 13% in general management, human resource, 10% in IT and 7% in operations.

Earlier, IIM-Indore chairman KV offered diplomas to nearly 638 students of different programmes during the annual convocation ceremony.
