Preparation Tips for SNAP 2014 Test

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the common written test which is conducted for students who want to get admission in Symbiosis National University. This year, the exam will be held on 15th December, 2013 and the result of the exam will be declared in the month of February next year. The exam is mandatory for those who want to take admission in any of the programmes offered by the Symbiosis National University. This exam is nationalise exam and among the most sought after exams of the country for getting admission in MBA programme. Aspirants can use the test scores to get enrolled in other B-Schools of the country if they accept SNAP score as eligibility criteria. Below are some important tips to crack the nutshell of this prestigious exam of the country.

  • Prepare a time-table: While preparing for this important exam, make a time-table which will cover all your courses and gives you enough time covering all papers. You should always follow your time-table religiously, it is really important that you divide your time smartly among different courses, keeping the point in mind that you will allocate more time to those subjects in which you need more preparation to brush up your facts.
  • Work on speed & accuracy: There are total 180 questions are asked in the exam and total time to solve all the questions is 120 minutes. Thus, the exam requires lots of speed to attempt all the questions as you will get less than a minute to solve each question. The test is not usually a difficult paper, the level of most of the questions are moderate and easy. The most important thing in this exam is speed and accuracy. As there is negative marking in the exam, so it is equally important that you don’t just randomly guess answers if you are not so sure about it.
  • Get familiar with the paper pattern: Before appearing in the exam it is important that you should get familiar with the paper pattern. It is important that you must know in advance how many questions will be asked in the exam and what type of questions will be asked. It will help you to increase your speed and accuracy and build confidence.

  • Brush up your facts & basics: It is really important that you must brush up your facts and basics. As the pattern of the paper is objective type and you need to choose the right option, so it is important that you should be clear with basics and facts.   • Read newspaper and get familiar with current affairs: To score high in GK section it is important that you should read at least two different newspapers and magazines based on current affairs. It will help you to score high in GK section.
