SNAP Exam 2014 Entrance Exam & Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who want to join MBA programme in Symbiosis International University need to appear in the mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test. Till last year a candidate registered for the SNAP Test and then register with the institutes offering his/her choices of program by paying separate institution registration fees. Candidates who will get selected in the entrance exam would be called for the round of Group Exercise & Personal Interaction (GE & PI) round conducted by each of these institutes.

From this year onwards, Symbiosis International University has bring all the admission process under one roof. The institute has completely changed the admission process. The institute has made significant changes in the admission process which are student friendly, simple, economic for the candidates, which will be implemented from the academic year 2014-15.

Eligibility Criteria SNAP 2014

Candidates who have completed their graduation from any recognised university with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for the exam. The candidates from SC/ST category must have scored at least 45% marks in their graduated degree from a recognised university.

Seat Reservation Policy for SNAP 2014

According to the UGC Regulations/Guidelines, below will be the reservation policy for admission to any program of institutes of SIU.
As per the sanctioned intake

 

  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
  • Differently Abled: 3%

 

SNAP Registration Process

  • Before filling up the registration form candidates are requested to read all the instructions carefully.
  • Candidates who want to get register for the exam required to visit www.snaptest.org.
  • The candidates who have applied for the exam and can made any changes in the online application up to the closing date of the registration.
  • After filling up the application from candidates are required to upload their latest scanned photograph to establish their identity.

Mode of Payment for the SNAP Test exam 2014 While making payment for the exam candidates must follow the below instructions carefully:

The candidates are supposed to make the payment of Rs. 2000/- as a Test fee of SNAP exam.

The candidates can directly pay through Master or Visa card online by following the instructions carefully mentioned on the SNAP website after registration.

Online Payment Through NET Banking:

After registering for the exam, candidates may transfer SNAP test fee to Symbiosis Test Secretariat account using Net Banking option.

Payment Through Cash:

After registering online for SNAP 2014 exam candidates should print ‘Axis Bank or Indian Bank Challan’ from the SNAP website. It is in 3 parts. Pay Rs. 2000/- in cash at any Axis Bank or Indian Bank Branch in your city. The bank will return two stamped parts of the ‘Axis or Indian Bank Challan’ and send it to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the address mentioned below:

Payment Through Demand Draft:

Candidates can get a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 2000/- from any Nationalised Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Fill DD details in the DD payment option in SNAP website and candidates should take a print out of ‘Payment Advice’ form for DD and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at the following address. The photocopy of the Demand Draft should be retrained for the future reference.

Candidates should print the SNAP Test Admit Card from the SNAP official website: www.snaptest.org and students can download this admit card till 15th December, 2013.

Candidates should carry the admit card along with the photo identity is any one of the following:

  • Passport.
  • Driving license.
  • College/ Institute Identity Card.
  • Credit card with photograph.
  • Voter ID Card.
  • Pan Card
  • AADHAR Card (UID)
