DTE Maharashtra has announced the dates of MAH-CET 2014

Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has declared the dates for MAH CET 2014 for getting admission to First Year MBA/MMS for 2014-15 in Maharashtra. Dr. Subash Mahajan, Director of technical education, has released a notification, which stated, “Candidates seeking admission to AICTE approved first year of two years full time post graduate degree courses in MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM for the year 2014-15 are hereby informed that the Online Common Entrance test (MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014) will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2014 and Sunday, March 16, 2014.” The result of the exam expected to be out in the month of April, 2014.

The aspirants can visit the official website and download the information brochure. The DTE will publish the details regarding filling up online CET application form, eligibility criteria, etc. in the month of January, 2014 for MBA/MMS admission 2014.

As per the information released by the Director of technical education, nearly 85% seats in the government run and aided MBA/MMS institutes and 65% seats at private unaided and minority institutes will be filled through the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET from 2014. The remaining 15% seats will be filled by through all India quota. According to the notification, the all India quota to students who attempt nationally recognised tests, such as CAT, XAT, and MAT will be considered. Students who have taken CMAT will now be allotted seats at institute in the state through the all India quota.
