XAT 2014 registration dates extended to 2nd December, 2013

XLRI admission chairperson Dr. Vishwa Ballabh stated that the last date of registration for XAT 2014 has been changed and the extended to 2nd December, 2013. Earlier the last date of registration for XAT 2014 was 22nd November, 2013. This time XAT entrance exam will be conducted on 5th January, 2014.

XAT entrance exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for enrolling students into its different management programmes. There are total 116 institutes which include XLRI, XIMB, LIBA, SP Jain, TAPMI, XIMR, GIM, XIME, BIMTECH, IMT Ghaziabad and many other institutes accept XAT scores to admit students.

XAT is a common entrance test for those aspirants who want to take admission into academic programme of XLRI and XAT Associate Member Institutes. The candidates who want to take admission in XLRI or any other XAT associate member institute need to register for the test and apply separately.

To apply for XLRI courses, candidates can apply for more than one programme at the same time in the institute. Those who will apply for different courses may be called for multiple interviews and group discussions for different courses. The selection criteria and eligibility criteria for different programmes may different. It will depend upon the programme. There will be no changes in the XAT 2014 exam pattern, it will be similar to last year. It will be divided into two sections and the duration of the exam will be three hours. The exam will commence from 10:30 A.M.
