You still have chance to get admission in sought after courses in DU

There is good news for all those students who want to take admission in DU has a reason to smile. But on the other hand, general category aspirants wanting to join the undergraduate courses in Delhi University have grim chances to get admission. The good news is that majority of the colleges are keeping admission open in popular courses as commerce, economics, English, physics and chemistry. The bad news is that the marginal cut-off in colleges continues to be cautious.

Some top notch colleges such as Shri Ram College of Commerce, Hindu, Lady Shri Ram, Hans Raj, Kirori Mal and Miranda House still offering courses such as economics and other courses.

LSR has dropped its cut-off by 1% for commerce, KMC has decreased it by 0.5% and Hindu by 0.25% for commerce courses. But at Hans Raj, it’s open at the same cut-offs as that in the first list. In some other colleges such as Ambedkar, Shivaji, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma and College of Vocational Studies where commerce is still available.

College have also lowered the bar for economics, but not much. For instance, SRCC and Miranda House has decreased their cut-off for the subjects by just one mark (0.25%), while Hindu, LSR and Hans Raj candidates with two marks less than that of first list’s minimum aggregate will be eligible for admission.
