Get a Cornell degree from Delhi Now!

Aspirants who want to get a Cornell degree now has a reason to smile, they can get this degree in Delhi. The National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) will soon going to collaborate with US’s Cornell School of Administration to allow Indian students an opportunity to study online courses and eventually received dual degree.

The memorandum of understanding for the academic collaboration is likely to be signed soon. The proposal has been already passed by the tourism minister K Chiranjeevi.

Cornell school is one of the top ranked hotel management institutes in the world. Chiranjeevi said, "The proposed academic collaboration will be important to the preparation of our goal for example growth of tourism through guests satisfaction. Our Institutional versatility also has to grow and expand to be responsive to this new emerging reality. A tie-up with the best international hospitality education institution will provide larger learning ambience to our students at economical cost."

The proposed collaboration will be carried out two parts. In the first phase, expert from Cornell School will study the curriculum of B.Sc. in H&HA, interact with different stakeholders and visit Indian training facilities before giving their recommendations. In the second part, faculty development programme will be taken up for various institutes NCHMCT.

Students can also choose for online programme in addition to the regular courses as an add-on certification. Presently, the cost of online programme is $ 700 per course per person and each programme offer six to eight courses. After completion of one programme, Cornell will issue certification of excellence in favour of students for the particular programmes.
