Learn how to spend smartly in your study abroad trips

Aspiring candidates who want to pursue their higher studies in US universities always worried about arranging the funds to support their studies. Before applying to any university most of the students search about the cost related to getting education there, which mainly focuses on tuition fee for that specific programme, and in most of the cases students forget to add the living cost in their overall budget. Students should not forget that living standards in US are high as compared to India. Always buy a health insurance before flying: Medical facilities and treatments are very costly in America. It is always advisable to avoid any problems students should always apply for medical insurance. Now, it is mandatory for all international students to opt for a health insure before moving to US for their education. Buying a medical insurance from there would cost much higher compared to buying a medical insurance from India. One should buy insurance for the same period of time for which you will be staying in that country. If you are flying for a year so buy an insurance policy for a year only.

Apply for study abroad scholarship: Scholarships can always be very helpful while studying in any foreign university. Aspirants should always apply for a scholarship at the same time when he applies for the college. It might be fill the gap of your funds which you might be short off. Many colleges offer merit based scholarships to students. Students receive 10% to 100% fee waiver scholarships and in some cases you get fee hostel accommodation too. This way, it can give a great boost to your funding.

Finalise an accommodation before leaving: When you know your date of joining and in case you have not got accommodation in college hostel try to find accommodation near college before flying there. Living in a hotel/ motel or any other place for few days or weeks would cost you much higher therefore, it is always better to fix this issue before moving there.
