NEET result will be out soon!

The National Board of Examination (NBE) will be soon going to announce the post-graduate entrance exam results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-PG). The exam was conducted between 23rd November and 6th December, 2013.

Dr. V Gupta, NBE spokesperson, said, “We will come out with the results shortly.” The state government has written a letter to the Medial Council of India, asking about when it will declare the NEET result for PG and MBBS programmes. Admission in all medical colleges for all-India quota will be done on the basis of the NEET scores. In all government medical colleges 50% seats are reserved for candidates who will take admission on the basis of NEET entrance exam result.

Besides, the Directorate of Medial Education and Research will also enrol students to eight private institutes on the basis of NEET scores. The name of these institutes as follows S K Somaiya Institute of Medical Research, Kashibai Navle Medical College-Ambegaon, Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research-Talegaon and Maharashtra Institute of Medical Science and Research-Latur, Swatiyog Pratishthan-Sangli, Sanjeevani hospital-Miraj; Sancheti Hospital-Pune and Bombay Hospital.

Some medical colleges are waiting for the NEET result to enrol student on all India level. Many colleges enrol students on the basis of their state level test, but seats reserved for NEET students will remain vacant till Medical Council of India will not declare the result.
