VMU AICEE 2013 MBA Exam Date

Vinayaka Mission University (VMU) conducts Vinayak Mission University All India Common Entrance Examination - VMU AICEE 2013. This year the exam will be held in the month of April, May and July 2013. The VMU AICEE entrance exam will be held for programmes MCA, Integrated BE-MBA, BE/B.Tech and ME on 27th April, 2013 for Paramedical courses the entrance exam will be held on 16th May, 2013 and for B.Ed programmes the entrance exam will be held on 14th July, 2013.

Eligibility Criteria for candidates:

For UG courses: Candidates must have passed their Class 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Aspirants who have not studied Mathematics as a subject are eligible for the biology-based branches: Bioinformatics, Biomedical and Biotechnology. Rest of the candidates are eligible for all the branches, including the Biology-based branches. Candidates who are appearing in the final examination for Class 10+2 are also eligible to apply for the course.

For PG in Engineering courses: Candidates who have passed their Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised university in the branches approved as relevant to the area of specialisation. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of examination are also eligible to apply for the course.

For MBA course: Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree from any recognised university. Candidates appearing/appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply.

For MCA course: Candidates who have done their bachelor's degree from any recognised university are eligible to apply. He/she must have studied mathematics/statistics at degree level or mathematics at Class 10+2 level. Candidates appearing in the final year of examination are also eligible to apply for the course.

Application Procedure:

Applicants can obtain the application form either in person by paying cash of Rs. 350/- or by post on payment of Rs. 450/- by Demand Draft in favour of "Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation", payble at Salem or Chennai.

MBA exam paper pattern: The exam is divided into five sections with total 100 questions, 20 questions in each category. The maximum allocated marks for the exam are 400. The exam is divided into five sections: Analytical situations, Reading comprehension, Data sufficiency, English grammar and Usage, and Quantitative Aptitude. There is negative marking in the examination for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted and for each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded. There is no negative marking for any unattended question.
