There were many students who have completed their paper much before the allotted time of three hours. Bhavya, a candidate from Delhi, said, “Barring a few questions in physics and chemistry, the paper was easy. I had solved similar papers before time.”

As per Trikha, it was a well designed and balanced paper as far as distribution is concerned for the questions of classes XI and XII. In this exam 40% questions in physics paper were from class XI , where as 47% of chemistry questions and 60% of mathematics questions were from class XI.

The merit list of successful candidates will be prepared on the basis of 60% weighate to the JEE (Main) score and 40% weightage will be given to class 12th board exam marks on which the students will be called for counselling and admissions.
