Rumour of JEE Main paper leak left aspirants in lurch

The rumour of JEE Main paper leak which got published on 1st April, 2013 or popular as fools day left JEE aspirants in lurch. As per the rumour, the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE)-Main is going to be held on 7th April, 2013 has been postponed to 31st April, 2013 due to paper leak.

However, the rumour came into existence to fool the readers on 1st April, 2013, many aspirants appearing for the exam after reading this shocking news got worried and confused about the actual date of examination now.

Kartik Daman, who is going to appear in this JEE Main exam has come across this article, thinks that it should be removed immediately to stop the panic among aspirants. He said, "When I was searching for test tips to crack JEE, I came across this hoax article informing about the changed date of the exam from April 7 to April 31. I believed it without realising that it could be a joke. Thinking that the exam is postponed, I changed by study plan to a more relaxing one. But when I checked on the original website a day later, there was no such thing mentioned there."

Another reader of this article Rakesh Jha , who is going to attempt this exam, said, "I read the hoax article and believed it initially, but then when I clicked on a link below reading official notice, it said April Fool. This was disgusting. Many students won’t even open the tiny link provided at the bottom of the article. Websites should not make such jokes that are misleading and can cause harm."
